The BJP-AGP alliance stepped up its campaign for the upcoming Panchayat elections with a high-energy rally held at Odalguri in Bajali district of Assam on April 20. The rally saw active participation from alliance candidates Aravind Barman, contesting from Bhabanipur-Sarupeta Zila Parishad, and Rimpi Moni Deka, contesting for the Anchalik Panchayat.
Engaging with local residents, the candidates highlighted the achievements of the current BJP-led state government and held discussions on ongoing developmental initiatives. Both Barman and Deka voiced strong optimism about their electoral prospects, asserting that the BJP-AGP alliance is poised for a decisive victory with a substantial margin of votes.
“We are in constant dialogue with the people regarding the performance of our party across different sectors,” said Aravind Barman. “The response on the ground reflects our strong position.”
Echoing similar sentiments, Rimpi Moni Deka stated, “We are confident that victory is assured in the coming days. The people’s trust in us is growing.”
The candidates emphasized the organizational strength and unity of the BJP-AGP alliance, describing it as “unshakable.” They underlined the developmental progress witnessed under Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s leadership, particularly at the grassroots level.
“Widespread development under the current government has transformed the lives of people in rural areas. That progress remains the backbone of our campaign,” said one of the speakers at the rally.
