<p>Speaking ahead of the swearing-in ceremony in Guwahati, Boro expressed happiness over being inducted into the new ministry.<br>

<p>“I am feeling very happy. The NDA government is being formed for the third time in Assam. This is the second term of Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma as Chief Minister. I am also getting an opportunity to take oath as a minister,” Boro told reporters.<br>
 </p>

<p>Boro’s induction is seen as significant for the BPF, an NDA ally in Assam, as the alliance prepares to begin a new term following its decisive victory in the Assembly elections.<br>
 </p>

<p>The NDA secured 102 seats in the 126-member Assam Assembly, with the Bharatiya Janata Party winning 82 seats, while its allies AGP and BPF won 10 seats each.</p>
