The distraught parents lodged an FIR at the Margherita Police Station soon after realising the boy was missing. Residents of the area expressed concern, noting that several cases of child abduction and suspected human trafficking have occurred in different parts of Margherita subdivision in recent years, many of which remain unresolved.
Following the latest incident, a team from the Margherita Police reached the village and has begun an investigation into the child’s disappearance. Local authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant as search operations continue.
