Congress nominee Pradip Kumar Sarkar reaches Assam's Abhayapuri, vows justice for Zubeen Garg

Assam Pradesh Congress Committee Vice President Pradip Kumar Sarkar arrived at his residence in Abhayapuri after being nominated as the Indian National Congress candidate for the constituency.

Speaking to the media upon his arrival, Sarkar reacted to the issue concerning Assamese singer Zubeen Garg, alleging that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has failed to deliver justice.

He asserted that if the Congress comes to power, ensuring justice for Zubeen Garg would be among the party’s first priorities.

Sarkar’s statement comes amid rising political debates in the state, with leaders increasingly invoking cultural and public sentiment ahead of the upcoming Assam Assembly elections.
