Congress shows arrogance, feudal mentality: Assam CM

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma strongly condemned the alleged derogatory remarks made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother in Bihar, terming them “highly condemnable.”

Speaking to the media, CM Sarma stated, “Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav and others used abusive language against the Prime Minister and his mother. This is completely unacceptable. Yesterday, Home Minister Amit Shah also condemned these remarks from the soil of Assam and urged them to apologize. However, instead of apologizing, the Congress brought in someone from Madhya Pradesh and tried to politicize the matter.”

The Chief Minister added that the Bihar government has arrested the individual involved, while investigations are ongoing to locate candidate Naushad. “This reflects the Congress mentality. They have never imagined that anyone outside the Gandhi family could become India’s Prime Minister. Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi seem to believe that the Prime Minister’s post belongs only to their family. This is a feudal mindset,” he said.

CM Sarma further lauded PM Modi’s tenure, stating, “The Prime Minister has run the government for 11 years and emerged as a global leader. The Gandhi family had never anticipated the kind of reception PM Modi received in countries like Japan and China. Their abusive comments against the Prime Minister and his late mother are a reflection of their arrogance. The people of Bihar will respond to them in the upcoming elections.”
