Senior BJP leader Dilip Saikia addressed a large gathering of party workers at a BJP workers’ meet held in Bajali, where he delivered a motivational address emphasizing ideological unity, organizational discipline, and future strategy.
Saikia praised the party’s inclusive and structured approach, stating that the Bharatiya Janata Party operates under a collective leadership model, where equal importance is given to all members. He highlighted that the BJP adheres strictly to its constitutional framework, which defines limits on appointments and roles within the organization.
“Even if we wish to, we cannot arbitrarily increase positions. The BJP runs within a defined structural setup and does not lack committed workers. Moving forward, our focus is on unity and collaboration between senior and junior members,” he said.
He also noted that the BJP, in coordination with its alies, has contested elections across 31 organizational districts, demonstrating the strength of the alliance and the party’s growing grassroots presence.
Turning his attention to AAMSU and the minority community, Saikia targeted Congress, accusing it of treating Muslims as a vote bank and ignoring their real issues during its rule.
“The injustices and exploitation that Muslims suffered during Congress rule must be highlighted. Corruption in the name of Waqf Board revenues was rampant, and corrective reforms are currently underway,” he added.
The event saw the participation of several prominent leaders, including Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass, MLA Phanidhar Talukdar, and BJP Yuva Morcha president Rakesh Das. The meeting concluded with a grand felicitation for Dilip Saikia, jointly organized by BJP workers and the AGP Bajali District Committee, who welcomed him with warm gestures and appreciation.
