Dhubri VHP holds sit-in protest against Pahalgam killings, demands action

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) of Assam's Dhubri district, on April 25, staged a sit-in protest, condemning the recent terror killings in Pahalgam, J&K.

The demonstration, part of a nationwide call by the VHP, saw a significant number of activists gathering to voice their outrage against the violence.

During the protest, slogans of "Murdabad" were reportedly raised against MLA Aminul Islam. While the exact context of these slogans remains unclear, it underscores the heightened emotions surrounding the issue.

The Dhubri VHP unit also raised concerns regarding individuals allegedly making pro-Pakistan comments on social media platforms. They demanded that the government take appropriate and stringent action against such elements.

The organization emphasized the need for the government to adopt a firm stance against terrorism and ensure the safety and security of citizens across the country. The sit-in concluded with a call for immediate and decisive measures to curb terrorist activities and address anti-national sentiments expressed online.
