Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Chief and UPPL President Pramod Boro commented on the ongoing alliance dynamics between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) during a booth-level meeting of the UPPL at Jogdwi under the No. 7 Fakiragram (Non-ST) constituency in BTC.
Addressing party workers, Pramod Boro stated that discussions are underway regarding the alliance between the BJP and UPPL, but it is too early to make any definitive statements.

He emphasised that all parties are currently focused on their own organisational work.
Referring to the party's progress, Boro noted that since 2020, the UPPL has grown significantly stronger across the region.
The booth-level meeting saw the participation of several key leaders, including UPPL General Secretary Raju Narzary, MLA Lawrence Islary, and former MCLA Afzal Haque Sarkar, among others.
