Ex-Army personnel provides free government job training to youth in Assam’s Baksa
Former Army personnel Anupam Das has been providing free physical training to young men and women preparing for government jobs in Assam’s Baksa district for the past eight months.
The initiative is being conducted jointly by the Baksa Mouza Ex-Army Welfare Association and the Baksa Physical Academy in Saderi.
Das, a recipient of the Academic Governor Award, conducts training sessions every morning to help aspiring candidates prepare for physical tests required for various government recruitment examinations.
According to the organisers, several candidates who received training during the initial phase have succeeded in securing government jobs.
The initiative has received appreciation from local residents and aspiring candidates, who have thanked Das for providing the training free of cost.
The programme aims to support young people from the area who are preparing for government recruitment and may not be able to afford private coaching or physical training.
