Gautam Adani visits Zubeen Garg's Kahilipara residence, pays tribute to the icon

Guwahati witnessed the arrival of Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, accompanied by his son Jeet Adani, from Ahmedabad on Sunday, September 28.

Adani visited the Kahilipara residence of late singer Zubeen Garg, where he paid his respects to the music legend. He spent time with Zubeen’s wife Garima Garg and family members, offering condolences and joining them in a moment of remembrance. 

During his visit, Adani is also scheduled to hold discussions with Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on ongoing and future infrastructure projects. A major highlight of his itinerary includes a review of the developmental works at Guwahati’s Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (Azara Airport).

Adani is expected to assess the progress of the terminal’s construction and deliberate on plans to further enhance operational efficiency and passenger experience. His visit underscores the Adani Group’s continued involvement in Assam’s development, particularly in the aviation sector.
