On September 11, seven lakh people were trained digitally on the growing environmental issues, that will be a world record too though the results have not come out. On September 15, we will plant 3.50 lakhs of trees within 1 hour. After that, we will plant 4 lakh seedlings in Margherita within a map pattern which will showcase the beauty of Assam in drone shots. But it will take 7 to 8 years", addressing the media Sarma stated.
The chief minister also emphasized his plan about 50,00 youths working together to plant trees in the Geleki area of Assam's Sivasagar district. And that day 50 lakh people will plant two trees in their own homes and upload their photos on the state portal which will be the biggest online photo album of the tree plantation.
