Himanta Biswa Sarma leads massive rally in Jagiroad on day two of Jana Ashirvad Yatra
The second day of the BJP’s ‘Jana Ashirvad Yatra’ witnessed an overwhelming public response as Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma led a massive rally from Jagiroad to Morigaon.
Thousands of supporters lined the streets, waving party flags and chanting slogans as the Chief Minister’s convoy made its way through key areas, turning the stretch into a sea of saffron.
The yatra, aimed at strengthening public outreach and consolidating support ahead of upcoming political challenges, reflected the BJP’s continued organisational dominance in Assam.
Accompanying the Chief Minister were Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika and BJP Assam Pradesh President Dilip Saikia. Both leaders actively participated in the rally, interacting with party workers and supporters while reiterating the government’s commitment to development, welfare initiatives, and inclusive growth.
Addressing gatherings along the route, Sarma emphasised the government’s achievements in infrastructure, social welfare, and economic reforms. He called upon citizens to continue blessing the party’s mission of transforming Assam into a leading state in the Northeast and the country.
