<p>Among those who arrived at the venue were his mother Mrinalini Devi, who was seen arriving in a wheelchair, his wife Riniki Bhuyan Sarma, son Nandil Biswa Sarma, and daughter Sukanya Sarma.<br>
 </p>

<p>Speaking to reporters at the venue in Guwahati, Sukanya Sarma said the family was delighted to be part of the occasion.<br>
 </p>

<p>“We are feeling very happy and delighted to be here,” she said.<br>
 </p>

<p>Riniki Bhuyan Sarma described the occasion as a special moment for the family.<br>
 </p>

<p>“It is a very happy moment,” she said.<br>
 </p>

<p>The swearing-in ceremony at Khanapara is being attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, senior Union ministers, and chief ministers and deputy chief ministers from NDA-ruled States.</p>
