            <div class="clearfix text-formatted field field--name-body field--type-text-with-summary field--label-hidden field__item"><p>Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday, September 29, targeted Congress candidate Sibamoni Bora at an election rally in Morigaon, questioning her record as the former MLA of the Batadroba Assembly constituency.</p>

<p>Sarma referred to Bora as a “silent bride” and alleged that despite representing Batadroba for five years, she had not raised the issue of Batadroba Than in the Assam Assembly.</p>

<p>The Chief Minister also targeted Congress MP Rakibul Hussain, saying that if his visit to Samaguri proved beneficial to Hussain, he would invite him to visit the constituency two or three more times.</p>

<p>Sarma was addressing party workers and supporters at the rally as campaigning intensified for the upcoming Nagaon Lok Sabha bypoll. The Nagaon seat is scheduled to go to polls on October 6.</p>

<p>The Chief Minister's remarks were part of the BJP-led campaign against Congress ahead of the bypoll, with the contest seeing increased political activity in the constituency.</p>
