HS final exams begin in Dhubri with 16,039 candidates across 33 centres

The Higher Secondary (HS) final examinations commenced across Dhubri district on February 11, marking a crucial academic milestone for thousands of students.

A total of 16,039 candidates appeared for their first papers at 33 examination centres set up across the district. The centres were prepared by the district administration in coordination with the education authorities to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations.

The atmosphere at various venues reflected a mix of nervous anticipation and focused determination. Strict monitoring measures were implemented at all centres to maintain discipline and uphold the integrity of the examination process.

At Shishupathsala Higher Secondary School, one of the district’s prominent institutions, 347 students, including candidates from two private institutions attached to the centre, appeared for the examination.

District officials visited several centres during the morning hours to review arrangements and ensure compliance with examination protocols.

“Our priority is to provide a calm, secure and fair environment for every student,” said Sanjib Kumar Saha, Principal of Shishupathsala Higher Secondary School. “All logistical arrangements, from seating plans to invigilation, have been carefully managed to avoid any disruption during this important period.”

The examinations will continue over the coming weeks, with authorities remaining vigilant to ensure that standard operating procedures are strictly followed and that students receive the necessary support throughout the process.
