"I have nothing to hide": Musician Shekhar Jyoti Goswami reaffirms support in Zubeen Garg death probe

Musician Shekhar Jyoti Goswami, who appeared before the CID office for the third consecutive day on September 29, in connection with the ongoing investigation into the untimely death of celebrated singer Zubeen Garg, maintained a resolute stance on the matter.



Speaking outside the CID premises, Goswami stated that he could not disclose specifics about the questioning or the nature of the probe, citing confidentiality. “There are several officials, each questioning me as per their requirement. I have nothing to hide. I am answering all their questions,” he said.



Reaffirming his commitment to the investigation, Goswami declared, “I had told you yesterday as well — I will continue to extend my support to the government and the investigation till the last drop of blood in my body. I will be present here whenever they summon. Be it SIT, CID, or CBI, whoever summons, wherever they summon, I will go and give my statement. I will fight until my last breath, will fight for justice for Zubeen Da".


On being asked about the whereabouts of Siddharth Sharma, the manager of Zubeen Garg, Shekhar Jyoti Goswami said that he has no idea about his whereabouts and that his documents, mobile phone has been seized by the SIT.


Apart from Shekhar Jyoti Goswami, two others - Amritprabha Mahanta and female actor Nishita Goswami were also summoned for the third consecutive day to the CID office.
