<p>The 80th Independence Day was being celebrated at the public playground in Udaypur under the initiative of the Dudhnoi Sub-Divisional Administration.</p>

<p>As part of the celebrations, Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council Chief Executive Member and Dudhnoi MLA Tonkeswar Rabha hoisted the national flag.</p>

<p>However, shortly after the flag was unfurled, it was noticed that the Tricolour was flying upside down, triggering reactions among those present at the venue.</p>

<p>A police personnel immediately lowered the flag and hoisted it again in the correct position.</p>

<p>The ceremony subsequently continued, with Tonkeswar Rabha taking the salute during the parade and march-past by students and police personnel.</p>

<p>The flag mishap during the Independence Day programme has drawn attention to the need for greater care in handling and hoisting the national flag at official ceremonies.</p>
