Kaliabor College hosts special entrepreneurship fair featuring student-made products in Assam
Kaliabor College (Autonomous) organised a special entrepreneurship fair on its campus in Assam, providing students an opportunity to showcase and sell products made by them.
The fair was organised under the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of the college, with participation from students of Kaliabor College as well as local schools.
Unlike conventional fairs, the event provided students with an opportunity to take part in the entire process of displaying and selling products they had prepared themselves. The stalls featured a variety of handmade and homemade products.
Teachers, students and visitors attended the fair and purchased the products displayed by the young entrepreneurs, encouraging their efforts and providing them with practical exposure to marketing and sales.
The initiative was aimed at helping students develop entrepreneurial skills alongside their academic education and encouraging them to consider self-employment and business opportunities.
The college said such initiatives would provide students with practical experience and help them gain confidence in turning their ideas and skills into viable products and ventures.
The fair received an encouraging response from students and visitors, with the student-run stalls attracting considerable interest.
