<p>The victim, identified as Pradip Das of Ranibitha No. 2 village, sustained critical injuries when a KIA Seltos allegedly struck him near Ranibitha No. 2.</p>

<p>Locals rushed Das to Bamunigaon Adarsha Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.</p>

<p>Police from Jambari reached the accident site soon after the incident and began the necessary legal procedures.</p>
