Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today emphasised the significant opportunities for small-scale industries and startups at the Advantage Assam 2.0 investment summit.
"This time, we are providing a lot of benefits to small-scale industries and startups. They will have the opportunity to interact with large entrepreneurs," Sarma told reporters.
The summit will feature dedicated business matchmaking sessions to connect smaller enterprises with established companies. "We have organised a business-to-business session, which means there will be discussions between large and small entrepreneurs. They will be able to engage in buying and selling," the Chief Minister explained.
Sarma expressed optimism about the summit's outcomes, saying, "As a result, there will be many advantages. Advantage Assam will progress nicely, and people will talk about investments that are even better than we had imagined."
The investment summit, taking place in Guwahati, aims to showcase Assam's business potential and attract domestic and international investors to the northeastern state.
