Minister Atul Bora distributes 645 land pattas in Assam's Bokakhat under Mission Basundhara 3.0
Assam Agriculture Minister Atul Bora on February 27, distributed 645 land pattas to individuals and institutions in Bokakhat under Mission Basundhara 3.0.
The distribution programme was held at the Bokakhat Central Bihu Ground in the presence of officials from the Bokakhat sub-divisional administration, revenue department officers and leaders of the ruling AGP-BJP alliance.
Speaking on the occasion, Bora said that the land settlement drive is being carried out in 97 constituencies across the state and that over 1.06 lakh people are expected to benefit from the initiative. He stated that 645 beneficiaries in Bokakhat received land pattas as part of the programme.
The minister claimed that during the five-year tenure of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, several long-pending land-related issues have been resolved. He said that many people who had been deprived of land rights for generations, including members of tribal communities, have now been granted legal ownership under the scheme.
Mission Basundhara aims to streamline land records and provide rightful ownership to eligible beneficiaries across Assam.
