Controversial posters featuring allegedly morphed photographs of a woman have surfaced in markets and public places across Juria in Assam’s Nagaon district, triggering public outrage and allegations of a conspiracy to defame her.

The woman has approached Juria Police seeking justice, following allegations that her photographs and videos were edited and circulated on social media.

The incident has also drawn attention to posters offering a reward of Rs 50,000 for information about the woman’s whereabouts. Allegations have emerged that Hussain was behind the posters.

The incident has sparked concern among local residents, with several people demanding the identification of those responsible and strict action against the accused.

The circumstances surrounding the posters, including who put them up and who was responsible for their circulation, are yet to be established. Further details are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.
