Mourning at Assam DSP Khargeswar Rabha’s Boko home after body found in Bongaigaon hotel

Grief gripped the family and relatives of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Khargeswar Rabha at his residence in Deliyapara, Boko, after his body was recovered from a hotel room in Assam’s Bongaigaon district on October 22.

Rabha, who was serving in the Chief Minister’s Vigilance Cell, was found dead in Room No. 102 of Hotel Jahnavi Regency in Bongaigaon. His body was reportedly found in a partially decomposed state.

The news of his death left his family, relatives and well-wishers in mourning at his Deliyapara residence. Residents of Boko and nearby areas also expressed grief over the sudden death of the police officer.

According to reports, Rabha had attended a relative’s wedding ceremony at Nadiyapara in Boko on October 16 and left for Guwahati the following day, October 17. His body was later recovered from the Bongaigaon hotel.

The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, and the exact cause of death has not been established.
