MP Bijuli Kalita Medhi inaugurates Khel Moharon 2.0 in Boko

Guwahati Lok Sabha MP Bijuli Kalita Medhi inaugurated the two-day Khel Moharon 2.0 sports festival at Gandhi Maidan in Boko on Saturday. The event, organized in the Boko-Chhaygaon Legislative Assembly constituency, features a variety of sporting competitions, including kabaddi, athletics, football, tug-of-war, volleyball, and a traditional cycling race.

In her inaugural address, MP Medhi inspired the participating athletes by referencing the achievements of star athlete Hima Das. She also officially opened the kabaddi matches for both men and women.

Prominent attendees included Kamrup District Additional Deputy Commissioner Pranab Dutta Goswami, Boko Circle Officer Dibas Bardoloi, South Kamrup BJP President Anjan Goswami, and Boko Mandal BJP President Hiranya Nath.

Organizers expect significant community participation, underscoring the importance of such initiatives in promoting grassroots-level sports development.
