MP Pradyut Bordoloi's convoy attacked by unidentified miscreants in Assam’s Dhing

The convoy of Congress MP Pradyut Bordoloi was attacked by unidentified miscreants in Dhing, Nagaon district, Assam on April 27 as the election fever grips the state ahead of panchayat polls.


The attack took place while the parliamentarian was returning from a panchayat election campaign event.

Assam MLA Sibamoni Bora, who was part of the convoy, was also present during the attack. 

According to reports, a group of assailants, their faces concealed with black cloth, targeted five vehicles in the convoy. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far.

Authorities have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible for the assault.
