Muslim youths in Haflong organise donation drive for Assam flood victims
A donation drive was organised at Haflong Masjid following August 1 prayers to support people affected by the recent floods in Assam.
The humanitarian initiative was led by a group of Muslim youths, who appealed to worshippers and local residents to contribute towards relief efforts for flood-affected families across the state.
Responding to the appeal, a large number of people donated generously, expressing solidarity with those who have suffered losses due to the devastating floods.
The organisers thanked the public for their wholehearted support and said the relief collected through the drive would be sent to the flood-affected communities at the earliest.
They also urged people to continue extending humanitarian assistance to those in need as relief and rehabilitation efforts continue in the flood-hit districts of Assam.
