Bhawanipur MLA Phanidhar Talukdar exercised his franchise today at 9 No. Hathinapur Higher Secondary School in Bajali, setting the tone for active public participation in the ongoing elections. Speaking to reporters after casting his vote, Talukdar expressed confidence that all Zilla Parishad seats in Bajali will come under the control of the BJP-led alliance.
Highlighting the significance of the polls, Talukdar noted that people across the region are stepping out in large numbers to safeguard the democratic process. "Everyone is coming forward to vote first, as protecting democracy is our foremost duty," he stated.
Addressing national security concerns, Talukdar emphasized that the current mission is not a conflict with Pakistan as a nation but a decisive campaign against terrorism. "This is not a war against Pakistan; it is a plan to eliminate terrorism. India stands firm — we will wipe out terrorism," he declared.
He further urged Pakistan not to misinterpret the situation. "Pakistan should not view this as a battle against them. Our fight is against the terrorists operating from their soil, not against the country itself," Talukdar clarified.
