The project was inaugurated in the presence of BTR Chief Pramod Boro, BTR EM Daobaisa Boro and other dignitaries from the textiles sector.<br>

<p>During the event, the minister also launched a dedicated online shopping portal and mobile application aimed at promoting and supporting local weavers of the region, enabling them to reach wider markets and improve their livelihoods.</p>

A large number of local weavers attended the programme and expressed their appreciation for the initiative, which is expected to significantly boost the handloom and silk industry in Bodoland.</p>

Speaking at the event, Minister Margherita emphasized the cultural significance of traditional handwoven products, particularly the Aronai. He shared that he often presents the Aronai to foreign dignitaries as a mark of cultural pride, symbolizing India's rich handloom heritage. </p>
