Press meet held in Assam's Morigaon ahead of 37th Central Foundation Day of All Tiwa Students Union

The central leadership of the All Tiwa Students’ Union (ATSU) addressed a press conference in Morigaon ahead of its 37th Central Foundation Day, scheduled to be observed on February 25.

The press meet was held at Morigaon Sadar Bihutoli in the presence of ATSU president Prashanta Masrang and other central committee members, who appealed to the public for their cooperation and participation in the day-long programme.

According to the organisers, the celebration will begin at 9:00 AM with the opening ceremony at the organisation’s central office, Ganesh Chandra Senapati Bhawan. A cultural rally will follow at 10:00 AM, which will be inaugurated by Assam Minister of Informations and Public Relations Pijush Hazarika. State Education Minister Ranoj Pegu will attend the programme as the Chief Guest.

Meanwhile, ATSU president Prashanta Masrang urged members of both the Cheniram Malang and Biman Pratim Masrang groups to come together and jointly celebrate the foundation day in unity. He called upon all sections of society to extend their support to ensure the successful observance of the occasion.
