Prof Pradip Lingfa, former professor of Mechanical Engineering at the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), assumed office as the new Chairman of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).
The oath-taking ceremony, held at Raj Bhawan, was administered by the Governor. Prof Lingfa's appointment as the APPSC Chairman was announced on December 12, but his oath-taking was delayed due to his pending release from NERIST.
In his interaction with the media, Prof Lingfa expressed his commitment towards restoring the APPSC's functionality and credibility.
He highlighted his intent to streamline the recruitment process and meet the demands of various organizations. Tame Phassang, the Mayor, commended the appointment of Prof Lingfa, expressing his belief that the new chairman's leadership would restore the Commission's glory and ensure fair examinations.
He praised Prof Lingfa's qualifications and his potential to uplift the Commission.
