Rahul Gandhi announces '5 pillars of justice' with promise to empower the nation

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, amidst the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, declared a vision of justice encapsulated in the Nyay Yatra, promising to introduce the Congress party's "5 pillars of justice" in the coming month. This initiative, he claims, will bestow power and equity upon the nation.

Addressing the press during the Nyay Yatra in Assam on January 23, Gandhi articulated, "There is an idea of Nyay behind this Nyay Yatra. Congress party will bring forward its 5 pillars of justice in the next one month which give the country power." This statement marks a significant development in the ongoing political discourse as the Congress leader outlines the party's commitment to justice and empowerment.

Amidst the yatra in Assam, Gandhi highlighted the opposition faced from Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma. Despite hurdles, including denials to visit temples, colleges, and padyatras, Gandhi sees the obstacles as inadvertently contributing to the cause by generating additional publicity.

"The Assam CM and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are inadvertently helping us. Whatever obstacles they create, our message of Nyay is reaching the people," stated Gandhi, emphasizing the unintended positive outcomes of the opposition faced during the yatra.

Gandhi accused the Assam CM of being one of the most corrupt leaders in the country and utilized the denial of entry to various places as an opportunity to garner support for their cause. He invited everyone to join the Nyay Yatra, focusing on five key points, including seat negotiations with Mamata Banerjee and addressing issues such as systematic participation for OBCs, Dalits, Adivasis, women's injustice, and unemployment.

In a broader political context, Gandhi positioned the INDIA alliance as an ideology combating the RSS, BJP, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He criticized the Chief Minister, asserting that the language and tradition of Assam cannot be dictated solely by the CM.
