Retired Bangladeshi soldiers threaten to capture Assam in four days in viral videos

Viral videos featuring retired Bangladeshi Army personnel claiming that the soldiers can capture Assam and Kolkata "within four days" have surfaced on social media.

As tensions between India and Bangladesh continue to escalate, the ex-officials can be seen making provocative 'anti-India' statements in the videos.

A retired official, in one of the videos, claimed that a core group of 5,100 Bangladeshi personnel can capture Kolkata and other key Indian territories swiftly, with support from three million Bangladeshis.

Another clip showcases a former personnel boasting that the Bangladeshi Army is "battle-ready" to defend the nation and "teach India a lesson", claiming that they have received training for the same.

The inflammatory claims come amid rising tensions between the two countries, driven by violence and alleged atrocities against minorities in Bangladesh, further escalating concerns over the safety and security of Assam and other Indian territories.
