Speeding vehicle kills biker outside cement factory in Assam's Nagaon
A young man was killed after a speeding vehicle ran over his motorcycle near the Rangagora cement factory in Assam’s Nagaon district on February 18.
The victim, identified as Kasem Ali, was travelling from his home to his workplace when the accident occurred at Rangagora. According to preliminary information, a Crete vehicle bearing registration number AS 12 AF 8550 struck and crushed the motorcycle, leading to his death on the spot.
The impact of the collision left Ali trapped under the vehicle. Local residents rushed to the scene and alerted the police.
Personnel from the Samaguri police station reached the spot shortly after the incident. The body was later sent to Nagaon Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) for post-mortem examination.
Further investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances that led to the crash.
