Tezpur youths travel to Dima Hasao to watch Zubeen Garg’s dream film "Roi Roi Binale" amid ticket rush

Such is the devotion of Zubeen Garg’s fans that even a sold-out status of movie tickets couldn’t keep them away from witnessing his final cinematic creation, “Roi Roi Binale.” In an inspiring show of admiration, seven youths from Tezpur undertook a long journey to Dima Hasao after failing to secure tickets in their hometown.

The much-anticipated film, a culmination of Zubeen Garg’s 17 years of dedication and artistic pursuit, marked a historic milestone in Assamese cinema with nearly 800 screenings across Assam and other parts of India on its opening day. Despite the extensive release, the overwhelming demand led to packed theatres everywhere, leaving many fans disappointed.

In Tezpur, tickets were reportedly sold out for an entire week, both online and offline. Undeterred, the seven ardent admirers scoured alternative locations and finally succeeded in booking seats via BookMyShow, at Hammeringdi Cinema Hall in Haflong, Dima Hasao district.

Their journey stands as a testament to the deep emotional connection that Zubeen Garg continues to share with his fans, even after his passing proving that his music and art transcend boundaries and distances.
