Three-day training on Business Development for PACS/MPACS concludes in Assam's Margherit
A three-day training programme on business development planning for PACS and MPACS was held at the auditorium hall of Gaon Panchayat Samaboy Samity (GPSS) in Margherita from March 12 to 14.
The programme was organised by the Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM), Guwahati, and sponsored by NABARD Regional Office, Guwahati, in association with the offices of the Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies (ARCS) and District Development Manager (DDM), NABARD, Tinsukia.
The training was inaugurated by Rohit Kumar Yadav, Block Development Officer, Margherita. Over the course of three days, Hemanta Kumar Das, Director, NABARD Guwahati, conducted sessions for presidents and members of seven Samabai Samities under the Margherita Gaon Panchayat Samabai Samity, focusing on strategies for effective business development.
On the concluding day, Barun Biswas, District Development Manager, NABARD Tinsukia, attended as the chief guest and delivered insightful lectures on business development practices.
All participants were awarded certificates of participation by the chief guests, marking the successful completion of the programme aimed at strengthening cooperative management and promoting business acumen among the PACS/MPACS members.
