Two youths critical after motorcycle crash on Telahi bridge in Assam’s Morigaon

Two motorcycle riders were left critically injured after a road accident on Telahi Bridge in Morigaon on December 24.

The injured have been identified as Minjaru Rahman of Jaluguti and Mostafizur Rahman of Morimusulman village. Both were initially taken to Morigaon Civil Hospital before being referred to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital for advanced treatment due to the seriousness of their injuries.

According to local sources, the two youths were returning from Dharamtul after having tea when their motorcycle collided violently on Telahi Bridge. The reason behind the crash is yet to be officially confirmed.

The motorcycle involved in the accident bears registration number AS21 E 8919. Police have launched an inquiry into the incident.
