<p>According to preliminary information, Ali was admitted to Nagaon Medical College and Hospital on Wednesday for emergency treatment. He allegedly took advantage of an opportunity and fled from the hospital premises while still wearing handcuffs.</p>

<p>Following the escape, Nagaon Police launched an operation to trace and apprehend the absconding undertrial. </p>
