The southern region of Sootea, particularly the char areas along the Ghila Dhari River, is experiencing a stunning transformation as vast expanses of mustard fields come into full bloom, creating a picturesque landscape reminiscent of the iconic scenes from the Bollywood classic "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The vibrant yellow blossoms are captivating all who behold them, offering an enchanting spectacle that leaves both visitors and locals in awe.

Meanwhile, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma couldn't stop but share few snapshots of this lovely view on X and praise the beauty of nature. "Reminiscent of the cult classic DDLJ? Well in Assam we are empowering all our daughters to जी ले अपनी जिंदगी Snapshots from Majuli", wrote CM Sarma on X.
