<p>According to the FIR filed at Nagaon Sadar Police Station, the woman, an educated Assamese resident of Bebejia, was in a relationship with Ashadul Islam, a resident of Chalchali area. She has alleged that Ashadul introduced himself as an unmarried man and subsequently married her, despite already being married and having a child.<br>
 </p>

<p>The complainant further alleged that following the marriage, she was subjected to continuous physical and psychological harassment. She claimed that the abuse continued even during her pregnancy.<br>
 </p>

<p>The woman has also alleged that she was compelled to convert her religion after the marriage and was repeatedly pressured to provide money for business-related purposes.<br>
 </p>

<p>Prior to her marriage, the woman reportedly operated a beauty parlour near Dhing Gate in Nagaon town.<br>
 </p>

<p>Seeking legal action, she has filed an FIR at Nagaon Sadar Police Station. Police have initiated an inquiry into the allegations.</p>

<p>Further investigation is underway.</p>
