Zubeen Garg death case: Sandipan Garg to appear before fast-track court for first time after jail release

Sandipan Garg, one of the accused in the death case of music icon Zubeen Garg, is scheduled to appear before a fast-track court on Monday, October 26 for the first time since his release from jail on October 19.

Sandipan was lodged at Nikashi Jail in Assam’s Baksa district before being released following the completion of legal formalities. His release came after the Gauhati High Court granted him bail against a bond of Rs 50,000.

After securing bail, Sandipan said he was confident that the truth would eventually emerge as the court examined the case.

“The court is examining the matter. Truth always prevails. When people come to know the truth about September 19, brother will get justice,” he said.

Sandipan had been in custody in connection with the investigation into Zubeen Garg’s death. The case has drawn widespread public attention across Assam, with demands for justice continuing as the investigation and judicial proceedings move forward.
