MANDALAY: At least ten people protesting the military’s coup has been killed by Myanmar’s security forces yesterday.
According to reports, six deaths were reported in Myaing, while one each in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, and Taungoo.
The military also lodged a new allegation against leader Aung San Suu Kyi that, in 2017-18 she was illegally given USD 600,000 and gold bars by a political ally.

The move comes just hours after the United Nations security council condemned the violence against the peaceful protesters and appealed to stop using lethal force, which is a crime against humanity.
Military spokesperson Brigadier General Zaw Min Tun said that former Yangon Division chief minister Phyo Min Thein had admitted giving the money and gold to Suu Kyi however, presented no evidence.
He said they have verified those facts several times and now the anti-corruption committee is continuing the investigation.
