MUMBAI: A three-story residential building collapsed on another structure in Mumbai's Malad West late on Wednesday, June 9th, at least 11 persons including eight minor died.
According to sources, the incident occured around 11.52 p.m. in the New Collector compound on a day when the city experienced heavy rain due to the monsoon.

The smallest victim was a one-and-a-half-year-old child.
Police and fire departments are still conducting search-and-rescue operations, some people believed to be trapped underneath the debris.
Residents from the damaged structures are being evacuated, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Twitter.
The 11 people who died have been identified, according to the BMC disaster management cell.
According to the sources, 18 people have been rescued. The injured have been sent to BDBA hospital, where Marikumari Hirangana, 30, is in critical condition, while the other six are in stable condition.
