A video of her with the demonstration kit surfaced in social media where she is seen replying to a lady capturing the video. She wore a mask connected to a potted plant in a transparent box and stood outside the Haryana Vidhan Sabha to draw the attention regarding the need for clean air for the survival of mankind.

Licypriya Kangujam has said that she wants to send a strong message regarding environmental degradation.

She said that this was her first demonstration with the ‘wearable tree’ that she carried with her.

According to her, anybody can build this concept at home from the trash and SUKIFU is an almost zero budget kit specially designed from trash to provide fresh air into our body when the pollution rate is high.

In SUKIFU, a potted plant is housed inside a transparent backpack hooked up to one tube to funnel fresh air into a face mask. The transparent backpack contains a plant, which connects to a breathing apparatus.

Prof. Chandan Ghosh, Professor at IIT, Jammu helped Licypriya to develop the model.

She was also spotted in school uniform carrying the kit with a demonstration placard where it was written, “Demonstration of SUKIFU’ (Survival Kit For the Future) Dear Leader, We Are Dying When You People Are Blaming Each Other. Act Now! #DelhiPollution.”

She mentioned that she has been inspired by Chih Chiu’s ‘Voyage on the planet’.

The 8- year- old’s concept sends out a strong message to everyone living on earth that how we are destroying our future.
