During his prime, Reverend Longri Ao, the founder of Naga-Gospel outreach mission and 'Man of Peace', used to take the Konyak Naga singer to sing in neighbouring Assam, where he made quite a name for himself due to his singing prowess.

Rev. Longri was a missionary to the Konyak people from 1950 to 1967. Today, at the age of 80 Lowmung Konyak praises God for blessing him with good health.

Despite getting on in years, the Naga singer has not missed a beat in a rendition of a traditional song that will frankly and quite honestly give you goosebumps. Drawing on his inner power and strength, Lowmung launches into the heartfelt song that touches you to the core irrespective of whether you know the language or not.
