93-year-old woman from Sikkim defeats COVID19

GANGTOK: In a positive development, a 93-year-old COVID-19 warrior has won the battle against the dreaded disease in Sikkim.

Josoda Pradhan from 5th Mile Malbassey Budang under Soreng Subdivision of West Sikkim has fully recovered from COVID-19.

On June 19, she had tested COVID-19 positive in the RT-PCR test.

The family informed that she was under sugar and blood pressure medication for 12 years.

The family has expressed gratitude to the government and the local residents for providing vitamins and other necessary household relief items to the household and supporting them in their fight against the virus.
