Active KCP-M leader apprehended in Manipur

Guwahati, February 1, 2019:

A combined team of Civil Defence Organization /IE and Assam Riffles apprehended an active cadre of Kangleipak Communist Party-Maoist (KCP-M) on Friday.

The accused has been identified as Thounaojam Kanta alias Lemba.

Lemba revealed that he joined the organization through one Moirangthem Nanao Singh and under his instruction he visited Nepal in Feb 2016 and again in June 2016.

Lemba has been handed over to LLI police station for further investigation.
