Active member of PREPAK (PRO) apprehended in Manipur

Guwahati, February 20, 2019:

A combined team of Civil Defence Organisation (CDO) and Moreh Police along with women police constables apprehended an active member of PREPAK (PRO) militant group from DI parking at Moreh Bazaar in Manipur on Wednesday.

The accused has been identified as Wahengbam Tamubi, alias Ebecha and Priya.

Tamubi is an active cadre of the banned outfit PREEPAK (PRO), holding the rank of self-styled second Lieutenant with army number 10384.

She has been handed over to the Moreh police and a case has been registered against her in Moreh Police Station.
