SRINAGAR: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar arrived in Kashmir on Thursday to spend the day with Border Security Force (BSF) jawans.
Sharing pictures on social media platforms, the actor “Spent a memorable day with the @BSF_India Bravehearts guarding the borders today. Coming here is always a humbling experience… meeting the real heroes. My heart is filled with nothing but respect".
The actor talked with jawans and boosted their morale. Reportedly, Kumar also donated Rs 1 crore for the construction of a school in Neeru village along LOC.

BSF's official handle also tweeted a video in which Akshay can be seen arriving in a helicopter. "As the country is entering into the 75th year of Independence, @akshaykumar once again comes to meet the #bravehearts guarding the borders. Here he arrives at one of the forward locations of @BSF_Kashmir on #LoC.," the BSF tweeted.
The actor also accompanied DG BSF Sh Rakesh Asthana in paying floral tributes in a solemn wreath-laying ceremony to Seema Praharis who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
In a video shared by BSF Kashmir on Twitter, Akshay Kumar can be seen dancing dynamically to the beats of Bhangra along with BSF troops donned in colorful attires
