Actor Sonu Sood violated Foreign Contributions Regulation Act, claims preliminary investigation

MUMBAI: Actor Sonu Sood is currently under the Income Tax radar. This time allegedly a number of unaccounted receipts have been found in his premises. According to reports, preliminary investigation revealed that the actor has allegedly violeted the Foreign Contributions Regulation Act (FCRA).

Certain documents providing that Sood had violated FCRA norms by receiving foreign funds have been recovered furing the searches.

It has also been informed that a number of unaccounted receipts have been found such as bogus loans and bogus billing which are now in the custody of Income Tax Department.

Reportedly, Sood has evaded tax by false claim expenditure.
