Another woman attacked for rejecting ‘love proposal' same day Dhemaji braveheart dies

Same day after Nandita Saikia, a student of Moridhal College, who was mercilessly stabbed by an employee of the college, died in a local hospital, another woman was attacked in Sangsari area of Kamrup (R) district.

GUWAHATI: Same day after Nandita Saikia, a student of Moridhal College in Dhemaji, who was mercilessly stabbed by an employee of the college, died in a local hospital, another woman was attacked in Sangsari area of Kamrup (R) district.

In the both the incidents, the victims were attacked for rejecting 'love proposals' of the miscreants.

The miscreant has been identified as Imran Hussain. he repeatedly stabbed the woman with a machete the same way Nandita Saikia was attacked by one Rintu Sharma.

After attacking the woman, Hussain surrendered in Changsari police Station.

The woman who hails from Darrang district has been admitted to a hospital in a critical condition.
